THE MAIN OBJECTS OF THE COMPANY ARE:
I. To set up a Bamboo Technology Park so as to Provide specialized physical and intellectual facilities to industrial firms and to encourage them in setting up Bamboo Processing Units and to introduce appropriate technologies and complementary skill building in rural areas, creating the possibility for producers and artisans to improve their skills and become more specialized in their fields.
II. To enhance international competitiveness of the Bamboo industry by providing quality infrastructure and to upgrade, improve the efficiency and competitiveness of beneficiary groups by providing Common Facility Centers For bamboo processing and to develop innovative schemes for the introduction of new designs to give local producers a competitive edge in the global marketplace.
III. To develop, use and promote scientific technology for variety of bamboo plantations derived through the latest scientific process on company’s own/ Government/ other land by using improved facilities and engage in new practices of growing and cultivation of bamboo and to help farmers in cash or in kind in scientific growing practices of Bamboo Plantations, Promote value added bamboo based products and all activities related to development of trade, import, export in Bamboo and Bamboo based products and to start an industrial unit for processing of bamboo and manufacturing of bamboo based products with or without fusion of other material and to import, export, trade or otherwise deal in all kinds of bamboo or bamboo based products and to promote research and development activities in bamboo, bamboo based products and to impart training to artisans, bamboo growers, bamboo based industries, and any other persons connected with bamboo trade and cultivation by the company itself or in collaboration with other non-government agencies etc.
IV. To establish, own one or more brand name for bamboo based products and market, distribute, export in India and abroad through its own showrooms, franchisees or otherwise.
