Strand Woven Block facility

Strand woven bamboo block is made by compressing “strands” of the bamboo strips under intense pressure, while using a heat-sensitive low-VOC adhesive (i.e Resin). Bamboo poles are split, shredded into individual strands, and fused under a cold press of 3,500 tons of pressure. After the curing process, the block is sliced as per the need of use.

The density of strand woven bamboo is over 1,100 kg / m3 and it is twice harder than oak. Strand woven bamboo flooring is extremely exotic and rich looking – through the “woven” process, the consistency found in the “traditional” bamboo styles is completely removed.

2. Glue Dipping
3. Strands Drying in Dryer Machine
4. Moisture Balance
5. Press Strip into Strand Woven Block
6. Block Solidification or Curing
7. Block Cooling
8. Mould Removing
9. Block End Cutting
10. Side Trimming
11. Multi Chip Sawing
12. Moisture Balance in Balance Room
13. Finished Board with desired thickness.
