CORRIGENDUM NOTICE

The following amendments are incorporated in our NIT No- CEO/BTP/2013-14/01 Dated 29-07-13. All other particulars shall remain unaltered.

To be read as-

1. Tender Document may be purchased from the office of Bamboo Technology Park during office hours up to 07-09-2013 instead of 27-08-2013
2. Last Date & Time for submission : 20-09-2013 upto 3 pm instead of 30-08-2013 upto 3 pm
3. Date & Time of opening of Techno Commercial Bid: 20-09-2013 at 4 pm instead of 30-08-2013, at 4 pm.

Clarification on certain points raised by intending Bidders in response to our NIT NO
CEO/BTP/2013-14/01 Dated 29/07/2013

Query1a Page 3 para 11.2 (b): What arrangements are proposed for clearing and forwarding of the Imported Machinery at Kolkata port?

a. The responsibility for clearing and forwarding of the Imported Machinery at Kolkata port lies upon the Purchaser. Bidders have to provide necessary documents required.

Query1bpage 3 para 11.2 (b): What arrangements are proposed for payment of Custom Duties and other charges as applicable for clearance of machines at the port ?

b. Custom Duties and other charges as applicable in India for clearance of machines at the port will be borne by the purchaser.

Query 2 a Para 11.7 of page 4: In case of foreign machines please let us know whether the purchaser will arrange de-stuffing of the containers and loading of the Machines on the trucks at the port at Kolkatta Port upon arrival.

Query 4 Para 15.9 of page 6“ In case of successful Bidder, the Bid Security will be converted to performance Security and will be released on commissioning”

“90% against transport document through bank or directly.
10% will be retained as performance guarantee which will be released after 12 months from commissioning on successful operation”

a) The above two bid condition are contradictory, kindly clarify.

b) We suggest that the Bid security shall be released after opening of Letter of Credit as the performance guarantee of 10% is being retained through Letter of Credit.

Query 5 Para 11.8 of Page 4: Please let us know if you have already engaged the technical personnel for installation & commissioning of the machines. If yes kindly provide us the name, qualification and experience of your technical personnel.

The Purchaser have not engaged yet the technical personnel for installation & commissioning of the machines.

Query 6 : Please let us know who shall bear the expenditure for machines and equipments required for the supply of utilities.

The purchaser shall bear the expenditure for the supply of utilities. However the Bidders have to provide the details.

Query 7:  Please let us know as to who shall bear the cost of Machinery foundation

The purchaser shall bear the cost of Machinery foundation. The detailed foundation drawing has to be provided by the bidder.

Query 8:  Kindly let us know if internal electrification shall be provided upto each machine head by the purchaser or whether we have to draw power from some HT line and arrange for transformer, Control Panel, Distribution Box and Cables upto machine head.
